The Geelong Summit will feature facilitated discussions on four broad themes; Sustainability, Economic Development, Community Strengthening and Governance.

Participants were selected following a public request for nominations. The final participants list was selected by a panel comprising Federal Member for Corio Richard Marles, Federal Member for Corangamite Darren Cheeseman, State Member for Bellarine Lisa Neville and State Parliamentarians Member for South Barwon Michael Crutchfield, State Member for Geelong Ian Trezise, State Member for Lara John Eren, State Members for Western Victoria, Peter Kavanagh, David Koch, Gayle Tierney and City of Greater Geelong Mayor Cr Bruce Harwood

Local summits will be held across Australia on Friday 4 April and Saturday 5 April. The Geelong Summit will be hosted at City Hall on Friday 4 April.
