Generations

Generations has been initiated by the Cultural Development Network of Victoria, who invited City of Greater Geelong and four other Councils across Australia - Latrobe City Council (Vic), Rural City of Wangaratta (Vic), Dalrymple Shire (Qld) and Liverpool City Council (NSW) - to participate.

Connecting Identities: Geelong Trilogy is Geelong's arm of Generations
Connecting Identities aims to create a rite of passage experience for communities which will enable a rediscovery of the importance of community and a hopeful future.  Residents participating in the project will meaningfully engage with a number of professional artists in a creative process that will offer the means to articulate the future of their community.  Further, it is anticipated that the project will assist Council in its capacity to respond creatively to its community's cultural needs.

Generations is supported by the Victorian Government through the provision of a Victorian Community Support Grant from the Community Support Fund. (www.dvc.vic.gov.au)
