BARWON RIVER PARKLANDS
NEW PARKLANDS FROM GEELONG TO BARWON HEADS

The Victorian Government has made a commitment to link the existing parks and reserves along the Barwon River from Geelong to the sea at Barwon Heads and to manage them as integrated parklands.
 
Parks Victoria is working closely with other management agencies and the City of Greater Geelong to create a significant recreation resource for the Geelong region. Key areas will be progressively improved including development of a linking trail.
 
The project is being led and managed by Parks Victoria and they are keen to encourage the wider Geelong community to be involved in decisions about the Barwon River Parklands.
