The complexities involved in running a community club or organisation are growing and the role of the volunteer administrator is both challenging and demanding.
The Club Resource Kit has been designed to help answer some of the more common questions and provide administrators with basic information about a range of topics. The Kit cannot answer every question but importantly it provides links to find further information. The Club Resource Kit is intended to be an easy to understand manual, used as a living working document.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK
Working with Children Checks are being phased in (1 July 2008 to 30 June 2011) for Clubs, associations or movements (including of cultural, recreational or sporting nature) that provide services or conduct activities for, or directed at, children, or whose membership is mainly comprised of children.
The Department of Justice conducted a number of free information sessions during April and May 2008.
