One of the region's biggest craft events for the year, the 2009 Transformation Scarf Festival, is now on at the National Wool Museum. The very popular festival has this year moved to Geelong from its former home at Craft Victoria in Melbourne, and runs until 19 July 09. It's not too late to get involved - there are plenty of workshop places still available although bookings are filling fast. | | NOW SHOWING A Bollard of a Life! Returns
Back by popular demand, A Bollard of a Life! Jan Mitchell and the Geelong Bollards has returned to the National Wool Museum until early 2010. With the agreement of the Mitchell family, the popular exhibition has become semi-permanent, providing an ongoing venue for the local community and tourists to discover more about Geelong's iconic bollards.
