Eastern Park is bounded by Garden and Ryrie streets and Corio Bay . It is open around the clock, while the Botanic Gardens are open daily from 7.30am to 5pm and 7.30am to 7pm on weekends and public holidays during daylight saving.

Free guided walks are available on Wednesdays at 10.30am and Sundays at 2.30pm during daylight saving. The Friends of the Geelong Botanic Gardens operate the Tea House for light refreshments, 11am-4pm daily.

Eastern Park has barbecues, picnic tables, shelters, toilets and a children's playground.
