Drysdale Resource Recovery Centre and Landfill 

Our Drysdale Resource Recovery Centre and Transfer Station can accept a wide variety of items including old computer equipment, white goods and building materials.

 Operating hours  8.00am - 4.15pm
 Location  Becks Road (off Murradoc Road Drysdale),
 Closed  Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day

Note: There are no EFTPOS facilities available. 

These items can be disposed of free if your load contains these items only.
  • Aluminium and steel cans 
  • Baths
  • Car batteries
  • Cardboard and paper (0.53 metre max.)
  • Computer items via the Byteback program
  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Hot water services
  • Milk and juice cartons (liquid paper board)
  • Plastics 1 -7
  • Scrap Metal
  • Waste car or machine oil collection point
  • White goods – fridges, ovens, dryers, dishwashers etc

There is a charge based on the size of your load for the following items. Mixing the free items with the following will attract a charge depending on the size of your load.

  • Brick and rubble
  • Building materials
  • Concrete
  • Domestic waste
  • Green waste
  • Mattresses  (additional charge of $17.50 each)
  • Pallets
  • Plasterboards
  • Televisions

Please note: Hazardous, liquid or chemical waste is not accepted at Drysdale Landfill and Resource Recovery Centre.
