Ghazeepore Road upgrades – works schedule

See what works are still underway (incomplete/upcoming) and which have been completed, including expected traffic and access impacts.

Residents will continue to have access to their properties throughout the works, and garbage collection will remain unaffected.

Remaining works: parking bay indents; single speed hump; concrete splitter island at childcare centre; pedestrian refuges; remaining footpath works; mountable apron at the roundabout, 50km.h signages

7am-4pm weekdays

Full road closure of Ghazeepore Rd between Sugargum Drive and Colac Road for the duration of the works. The closure is planned from 27 April through to end of June, to ensure safety and efficiency.

There are no major impacts to pedestrian access

Bus services/local traffic are required to be detoured for the duration of the closure.

VMS signages will be in place to advise road users of changed conditions.

Roundabout construction (Monterey Drive / Ghazeepore Road)

The intersection was fully closed to facilitate construction of the new roundabout.

Safety and traffic flow now improved at the intersection

Enhances bus operation and traffic flow.
