This scenic coastal event will feature an out-and-back course with the start and finish line located in Barwon Heads, taking runners along Thirteenth Beach Road on Sunday, 21 June 2026. Participants will enjoy a stunning seaside backdrop, fresh coastal air, and a safe, well-supported race environment.
The festival offers a unique opportunity for elite athletes chasing personal bests and fun run enthusiasts looking for an unforgettable winter race experience on the Surf Coast.

The weekend features a variety of running events to suit all ages and fitness levels, including a Half Marathon, 10km, 5km and 1km Kids Race. All finishers will receive a commemorative finisher’s medal.

To facilitate the safe conduct of the upcoming Barwon Heads Running Festival the following roads will be closed from 6:00am-11:30am on Sunday 21^st June 2026:

• Ewing Blyth Drive
• Jetty Road
• Thirteenth Beach Road 
• Blackrock Road – from Blutestone School Road
