Part of Tastes of Greater Geelong 2026
Presented by South Geelong Farmers Market
Sunday 21 June 2026 & Sunday 5 July 2026

This July, Tastes of Greater Geelong comes alive at the South Geelong Farmers Market with Tastes of Connection — a winter celebration of the growers, makers, and bakers who bring the region’s vibrant food culture to life.
Taking place across two market days, this free, family-friendly event invites visitors to step beyond the stall and into the stories, skills, and traditions behind their favourite local produce. Through live workshops and hands-on demonstrations, you’ll experience the journey from garden to kitchen, paddock to plate, and gain a deeper connection to the people shaping Geelong’s food scene.
On June 21, discover traditional butter-making with LardAss Butter, get hands-on with dough techniques and sourdough care from Ket Baker, and learn the art of fresh pasta with Great Ocean Road Pasta.
On July 5, explore the craft of sparkling winemaking with Babche Wine, experience a unique blend of candle making, honey tasting, and bee education with Coastal Nectar, and follow the olive journey from tree to bottle with Clydbank Farm.
Rooted in community and driven by a love of honest food and craft, Tastes of Connection is a celebration of what grows right here in the Geelong region. Come hungry, come curious, and leave inspired.
