The City of Greater Geelong is seeking community feedback on its proposal to provide a lease of up to 21 years of the land at 19-33 Marnock Road Newtown.
The site is currently the home of Balyang Par 3 Golf Course and the City is inviting those with innovative solutions to transform the space into a family-friendly fun exciting golf product for the long-term benefit of the Greater Geelong community.
The outcome would see an investment into the golfing lifestyle recreational and wellbeing needs of the community in a safe and inclusive manner.
Concepts for the site may include expanded and upgraded clubhouse facilities with a tailored hospitality offering driving range with state-of-the-art ball tracking technology mini-golf course short format golf course and other entertainment features that would complement the overall experience.
The community engagement process commences on Monday 5 August and closes at 5pm on Friday 30 August.
