The community is invited to roll up their sleeves and get planting at Plant it Forward - a special tree planting event on Friday 18 July 2025, from 9:30am to 12:00pm at Jarvis Oval, Waurn Ponds.

We’ve had an overwhelming response to our Geelong Youth Survey, receiving 3,790 submissions predominately from young people, as well as parents, those working in education and community members.
Council proposes Special Charge Scheme to upgrade Newcombe Street, Drysdale

At last Tuesday’s meeting, Council moved to declare a Special Charge Scheme to support the construction and sealing of a 105 metre section of Newcombe Street, between Princess Street and The Glen in Drysdale.
