Charity collections

You need approval from the City of Greater Geelong to conduct any fundraising activity, including door to door and roadside intersection collections. Additional approval from Victoria Police is also required for roadside and intersection co

To apply for a roadside or intersection charity collection, please download and complete the application form. A copy of your current $10 million public liability insurance must be included when submitting your application.

Information required for charity collection approval

You will need to provide:

  • name and address of contact person

  • telephone number

  • charity or organisation name

  • proposed dates and times

  • specific location/s (which intersections or which streets/areas)

  • a copy of your current public liability insurance (minimum $10 million cover)

 

Time frames

We aim to respond to all charity collection applications within 10 working days.
