This community vision document, which will guide our region’s development over the next 30 years, was endorsed by the City’s Administrators at the Council meeting held on 25 July 2017.

The ‘Clever and Creative – Our Progress 2019’ report highlights some but not all of the achievements of council, local organisations and the community, that align with the nine aspirations from the community-led 30-year vision ‘Greater Geelong: A Clever and Creative Future’.

The Our Progress 2018 report shines a light on some but not all of the projects and organisations that took place during the 2018 year contributing to meeting the community's aspirations.

By 2047, Greater Geelong will be internationally recognised as a clever and creative city-region that is forward looking, enterprising and adaptive, and cares for its people and environment.
