With approval of the Municipal Building Surveyor (MBS) or a Private Building Surveyor a person may occupy on a temporary basis a building for which there is not or could not be issued an occupancy permit appropriate to the use of the building.

An application must be completed and include the relevant fees.

The MBS may approve, issue approval with conditions or refuse an application.
