Planning permit objections
If you feel that you may be affected by a proposal, we recommend that you review the documentation that has been submitted with the application. Applications can be viewed online during the notification period or at Mercer Street Customer Service.
If you submit an objection, the objection must be submitted in writing and explain how you would be affected by the proposal.
When you object to a planning permit application, your objection must be:
- in writing (either online via our current planning applications page, by email to [email protected] or in hard copy)
- state the reasons for the objection
- state how the objector would be affected by the granting of a permit.
You can do this online by following the link above.
Before you start, please read our guide to making an effective submission.Objection period
