We offer two meeting options to support your planning enquiries.
Book a meeting with a town planner
For quick questions, in-person (over the counter) appointments are available at:
Wurriki Nyal Civic Precinct
137–149 Mercer Street, Geelong
and are ideal for brief, general planning advice.
For more detailed proposals, pre-application meetings provide an opportunity to speak with a planning officer before lodging your application, where we can help identify key planning or design considerations and outline the information required to support a complete submission.
Counter enquiry (in-person)
- Held at Wurriki Nyal Civic Precinct (137–149 Mercer Street, Geelong)

- Not intended for detailed review of plans or written proposals
Pre-application meeting (in-person/online meeting)
- A booked, sit-down meeting with planning officers
- Designed for detailed discussion of a specific proposal
- Involves reviewing plans, documents or written concepts
- Helps:
- Identify key planning or design issues early
- Confirm what information is needed for an application
- Improve the quality and completeness of your submission
