Elcho Road East precinct is identified as a short term precinct in the Northern and Western Geelong Growth Areas (NWGGA) Framework Plan. The precinct is located in the north-eastern portion of the Northern Geelong Growth Area (NGGA).

Landowners and representatives will be updated on preparation of the PSP as it progresses.

The broader community will have the opportunity to review and provide comment on the draft PSP and DCP during community consultation (public exhibition).

The City recently completed fauna and habitat surveys for the Victorian Grassland Earless Dragon.

The City is currently working with consultants on the drainage plan and transport network plan.

Landowner and Agency Engagement is expected to occur in the first half of 2026.
