The City of Greater Geelong is reviewing the long - term settlement boundary for Urban Geelong.
We are reviewing the current settlement boundary in the Greater Geelong Planning Scheme to confirm whether it is appropriate to be 'locked - in' as a long - term boundary or whether minor adjustments should be made to the boundary.

A draft report has now been prepared by specialist planning consultants Echelon. They have conducted detailed investigations into the City's current settlement boundaries using detailed methodology criteria and assessment processes.

We are inviting submissions on the draft report including feedback on the methodology investigation areas criteria and assessments. Your feedback will be used to inform the long - term settlement boundary which will be presented to Council for consideration later this year.
