Before you start

When completing your application you will need to tell us your residency status.

If you are the tenant you'll need to provide us with a copy of your current lease or gas/electricity bill as proof.

Permit eligibility

• A single residence (street address) is entitled to a maximum of two permits.
• Each residence within a multi-unit development containing three or fewer dwellings is entitled to a maximum of one permit.
• Residences within a multi-unit development containing four or more dwellings on the same property are not eligible for residential parking permits.

The permit is valid only in your street. Residential parking permits are not valid in paid parking bays, parking areas with a time limit of one hour or less, shopping strips, off-street car parks or prohibited parking areas, such as bus zones and no-stopping areas.

Residential parking permits are available only in designated areas within central Geelong. Before applying, please read the Conditions of Operation.
