The Geelong Baseball Centre is a well-utilised venue that attracts a range of community competition and national and international level training. The facility is the home of several local baseball clubs and plays a pivotal role in supporting programming hosted by the Geelong Baseball Association.

The Facility Development Plan provides a framework for future investment at Pioneer Park Reserve, Grovedale, responding to ageing and non-compliant infrastructure, increasing demand, and the need to sustain the Centre’s role as a premier regional baseball facility.

The Plan includes condition and demand analysis, strategic alignment, stakeholder engagement, and development options to renew and upgrade the Geelong Baseball Centre to a contemporary, fit-for-purpose standard that meets community, regional and international requirements.
