Combination of district sports reserve, sports restricted areas, nature reserve and encumbered open space (flood plain). The southern section of the Belmont Common encompasses the South Barwon Recreation Reserve and has a number of separate areas for specific recreational pursuits. The Common is home to the Target Rifle Club at the rifle range, the Geelong Obedience Dog Club and the Geelong & District Riding Club on the south side of the Waurn Ponds Creek.
Where
Dogs are to be controlled on leash in all public spaces unless otherwise signed. Penalties apply.
