District sporting reserve. Grinter Reserve is a large reserve that offers a wide variety of recreation opportunities for the community.

The reserve includes a large oval with a turf wicket and an additional hard wicket ground, two netball courts, the region's highest standard BMX track and a horse-riding club ground.

Splashdown indoor pool is also located within the Grinter Reserve precinct.

Dogs off leash - conditional. Dogs are permitted off leash under effective control on grassed sporting ovals only, when no organised sport is taking place. If this multi-use reserve has a playground, synthetic courts and/or turf wickets, dogs are prohibited from these areas.
