Please note: The State Government manages GMHBA Stadium. We (City of Greater Geelong) maintain and manage other facilities within the Kardinia Park precinct, including the surrounding parklands, ovals, netball courts and Kardinia Aquatic Centre.
Regional sporting reserve. The Kardinia Park precinct is a regionally significant reserve which is home to AFL Football Team Geelong Cats and the Geelong Cricket Ground.
The large reserve consists of 3 playing fields including the GMHBA Stadium arena. The Geelong Cricket Ground and West Kardinia Oval are home to the Geelong Cricket Club, Geelong's representative side within Premier Cricket.
The park is also home to a major netball centre for the Geelong region with up to 5,000 netballers playing here each week. Thanks to a $1.4 million redevelopment there are now 9 competition-standard courts including a feature show court with extensive lighting.
The Kardinia Aquatic Centre is also within the grounds of the park along with other community facilities such as kids playground and running/walking track with fitness equipment.
The Kardinia Park precinct is made up of many different areas and caters to a variety of activities.
These include:

- West Kardinia Oval
- Kardinia Park Netball Complex
- Kardinia Aquatic Centre
- Kardinia Senior Citizens Centre
- Boer War Memorial Park - is within the precinct
All bookings for the surrounding parklands, including the Geelong Cricket Ground, Kardinia West Oval and the Kardinia Park Netball Complex are to be submitted to the City of Greater Geelong.

Dogs are to be controlled on leash in all public spaces unless otherwise signed. Penalties apply.
