District sporting reserve. Lara Recreation Reserve is a large reserve close to the town centre.
The reserve has a sporting oval with a turf wicket and two additional grounds with hard wickets.
The reserve has excellent tennis and baseball facilities. The fantastic social facilities support the Lara Sporting Club.
Dogs off leash - conditional. Dogs are permitted off leash under effective control on grassed sporting ovals only, when no organised sport is taking place. If this multi-use reserve has a playground, synthetic courts and/or turf wickets, dogs are prohibited from these areas.
Where
Dogs are to be controlled on leash in all public spaces unless otherwise signed. Penalties apply.
