Stead Park is a well utilised regionally significant sporting reserve, home to a high quality synthetic hockey field and a national standard softball diamond.

The large and accessible reserve also has plenty of back up softball diamonds, hockey fields and soccer pitches linked with high quality connected pathways. 

The Community Activity Precinct within the park offers users with extensive play opportunities and social facilities including a recently a fenced dog park.
