District sporting reserve. Thomson Recreation Reserve is a large area with a turf wicket oval and an additional hard wicket ground adjacent to netball and tennis courts.
The diverse reserve also offers a children's playground. Dogs are prohibited from being within 10 metres of a playground or BBQ. On leash in surrounding areas. Penalties apply.
Dogs off leash - conditional. Dogs are permitted off leash under effective control on grassed sporting ovals only, when no organised sport is taking place. If this multi-use reserve has a playground, synthetic courts and/or turf wickets, dogs are prohibited from these areas.
