The state government is responsible for public transport across Victoria, including bus services such as routes, stops and new shelters.

Relocated bus stop and new shelter

Please contact Public Transport Victoria (PTV) for information or to enquire about:

  • New bus routes or changes to an existing bus route
  • New bus stops or moving an existing bus stop
  • New bus shelters and seating

We can assist with:

  • Maintaining existing bus stops and shelters - e.g. repairs, cleaning and graffiti removal
  • Modifying existing bus shelters - e.g. allowing better vision for an approaching bus, and replacing glass with mesh where ongoing vandalism occurs

Note: The City does not fund new bus shelters.

Use the form below to contact us to report a maintenance issue with an existing bus stop or shelter, or to request an existing bus shelter be modified.

Bus shelters

Bus shelters are the structures installed at a bus stop that provide protection from the weather. We maintain existing bus shelters - we are responsible for repairs, cleaning, graffiti removal and modifications.

Please contact us for matters about existing bus shelters, such as:

  • Allowing better vision of an approaching bus.
  • Replacing glass with mesh panels due to consistent vandalism.
