We commissioned video artist, Rhian Hinkley, to produce an animated projection work to coincide with the commissioning of the I AM sculpture. This projection celebrates the lives and stories of people in the Greater Geelong community who have a lived experience with disability.

Rhian worked with a group of artists from ArtGusto, a supported art studio in Geelong. These artists created over 100 original artworks based on photographs of a city block in the CBD. The works depict buildings and landmarks in the area bordered by Little Malop Street Moorabool Street and Gheringhap Street, including City Hall and Johnstone Park.

Façade is a delightful mash-up of reality and illustrated works, celebrating a diverse range of artistic styles.
