Come and learn to sail on beautiful Corio Bay!

Royal Geelong Yacht Club runs courses for all ages, with adult keelboat and dinghy (small boat) courses commencing in October each year. See the full list of dates and get more info here: https://rgyc.com.au/sailingacademy/learn-to-sail/ 

Courses are run by Australian Sailing-qualified instructors and are suitable for all age and fitness levels; you just need to be able to move across the boat! Keelboats are larger and don't capsize, whilst dinghies are livelier and are designed to tip over - you'll get a bit wet!

Both teach the same basic fundamentals of what makes a boat go, how to set sails, how to steer the boat, plus rigging, weather and more.
