Born to Shine - All Abilities Musical

Born to Shine is an original all abilities musical, made in Geelong by the people performing it.

Childhood friends return to their small country town to save a beloved theatre from closing. It’s a story about friendship, community and fighting for the places that matter.

The cast, performers with disability, built it from the ground up with No Limits Geelong and Surfcoast Dance Company, shaping the story and roles together every week.

Who it’s for: everyone. Families, friends, theatre lovers and anyone who wants to see what this crew can do.

Why come: this isn’t a workshop or a showcase. It’s a full original musical in a real theatre, made by performers who are usually in the seats, not on the stage. One night only.
