Paint your own ceramic piece and learn to whisk Japanese matcha in a relaxed two-hour creative workshop at the Geelong Library and Heritage Centre.

Two sessions on Saturday 5 December: 10:30am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

A friendly host shows you how to sift and whisk ceremonial-grade matcha and make your own matcha latte. You then choose a ceramic mug or matcha bowl and paint it using simple, step-by-step techniques.

No experience is needed. Matcha, the ceramic piece, paints, brushes and tools are all included, and you take home the piece you painted on the day. Tickets $99 per person. Bookings essential.
