Celebrate the magic of Christmas in the heart of Geelong when two festive favourites join forces for a free family event to kick off the festive season.

The City of Greater Geelong is partnering with Denis Walter's Carol's by the Bay to bring double the cheer to a sparkling evening of carols and lights at Steampacket Gardens precinct on Saturday 21 November.

The much-loved carols event will run from 7pm to 9pm followed by the lighting of the iconic Floating Christmas Tree.

There will be big screens, roving entertainment, Santa, singalongs, and special guests joining the fun on stage.

A feast of food and beverage options will be available from nearby eateries and food trucks, or you can pack a picnic.
