On Halloween, Saturday 31 October, Geelong will welcome The Dark Market, a new alternative market and immersive event bringing together artists, makers, collectors, performers, food vendors and independent creatives for a day of curious craftsmanship and wonderfully wicked discoveries.

Drawing from the sepulchral romance of cabinets of curiosities, the arcane language of alchemy, gothic art, natural history and old-world apothecary traditions, The Dark Market promises an altogether unconventional collection of wares. Original artwork, intricate jewellery, antique and vintage treasures, collectable objects, botanical creations, apothecary-inspired products, alternative fashion and painstakingly handcrafted pieces will inhabit the market, alongside those deliciously inexplicable and enchanted objects.
