The Dawnbuster Fun Run has been held for over 30 years and attracts up to 600 entrants every year.

It is seen as the last event of the year and a good way to prepare for the new year with an early morning walk, run or stroll. It encourages all profiles of the community to enjoy the spirit of wellbeing, friendship and the local attractions. 

The event commences at 7am sharp and is concluded by around 9am so that people can enjoy the rest of the last day of the year in good spirits. The 5km event starts and finishes on Steampacket Gardens on the Geelong Waterfront and extends to the Eastern Beach Reserve and return. 

All funds raised go to Give Where You Live, Geelong's local charity organiser.
