Dreamweavers - a Positive Ageing event

Dreamweavers is a short creative workshop series for grandparents, facilitated by musician Lucy Jones, alongside cultural advisors from the local community.

Hear recordings of traditional lullabies from around the world and share the stories behind the songs that were sung to you, or that you've sung to your own family.
Thursday 19 November
Listen to lullabies sung live, and the group learns to sing together, exploring how melody, rhythm and repetition create calm and connection.
Thursday 26 November
Using simple songwriting techniques, shape your own personalised lullaby, one that carries your family's names, places and memories forward.
