Ever wondered what goes on behind the doors of a working pottery studio? Now is your chance to find out!

Elizabeth Bell Ceramics is opening its studio doors at the historic Fyansford Paper Mills for a special Open Studio Day on Saturday 7 November, inviting the Geelong community to step inside, meet the makers and experience the creative process behind locally made ceramics.

Running from 10am until 3pm, the day offers a behind-the-scenes look at a working ceramics studio, with live pottery demonstrations, opportunities to try your hand at the pottery wheel, pottery painting, and plenty of time to chat with the people who make it all happen.

Whether you're a long-time pottery enthusiast, a curious beginner, a lover of handmade homewares or simply looking for something a little different to do on a Saturday, there's something for everyone.

What's happening:

• Explore a real, working pottery studio
• Watch live pottery demonstrations with Elizabeth from 10am–1pm
• Meet Elizabeth and the EBC team of pottery tutors
• Have a go at the pottery wheel
• Get creative with pottery painting
• Browse locally made ceramics in the EBC retail space
