Looking for a great way to celebrate Father's Day? Bring the whole family to the Portarlington Bayside Miniature Railway on Sunday, 6 September 2026, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, for a fun-filled day of trains, family time, and outdoor adventure.

The best part? All Dads ride FREE all day! It's a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a family outing without stretching the budget.

We've also heard a little whisper that Dads might be in line for a few special treats! Throughout the day we'll be drawing several lucky ticket prizes, and all you need to do to be in the running is purchase a train ride ticket.

Pack a picnic or enjoy lunch with us on site. There's plenty of open space for the kids to run and play while the whole family enjoys a relaxing day together. Picnic tables, seating, electric BBQs, and toilet facilities are all available.

Father's Day at the railway is always a wonderful community event, and we'd especially like to thank our dedicated volunteers who generously give up part of their own Father's Day to keep the trains running. Their commitment makes days like this possible, and we truly appreciate everything they do.
