Festival of Sails 2027

Festival of Sails returns to the Geelong Waterfront from 23 to 26 January 2027, bringing together world class sailing and a vibrant free community festival.

Celebrating more than 180 years of sailing tradition, the event begins with the iconic Melbourne to Geelong Passage Race, followed by exciting racing on Corio Bay.

Across Saturday and Sunday, the waterfront will come alive with live music and entertainment, food trucks, an artisan market, kids activities, community activations, car displays and free come and try sailing and watersports experiences.

Saturday will also feature a spectacular fireworks display over Corio Bay and an RAAF aerial display.

Whether you love sailing or are simply looking for a great summer day out, Festival of Sails 2027 offers something for everyone.
