In this interactive, conversational session at the Geelong West Community Garden, Clarrie is keen to encourage the growing of edible food in a highly productive garden. "I will give lots of tips and tricks to help people get the most of our growing plants in their food gardens.'
Clarrie Smith is a 4th Generation aspiring young gardener and farmer from Freshwater Creek. He is deeply interested in growing healthy organic food locally. He will cover the selection of plant varieties, plant spacing, plant care/ pruning, fertilisers and soil care and a Q&A.
Refreshments will be included.
This is also a terrific opportunity to visit the Geelong West Community Garden which was recently converted to wicking beds.
