The event takes place in October every year, with thousands of Victorian children taking part in the festivities. Children’s Week 2026 will be held between Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November 2026.

Across the Geelong region, during Children's Week, local organisations are invited to apply for Children's Week Grants to hold events and activities for children and their families.  

These are a great opportunity to connect with local services and supports in a fun and engaging way.
