Geelong Fragrance Fair
12 September - 13 September from 10:00am

Geelong Fragrance Fair 2026 returns to Deakin University's Waterfront Campus from 11–13 September, presented by The Olfactive Society. Alongside its marketplace, the fair's talks programme is a drawcard for scent lovers.
New York-based perfumer Michael Nordstrand — known for recreating ancient fragrances for the Getty Villa Museum and leading workshops at the Met Cloisters — opens with a Friday masterclass, then returns Saturday with "The Essence of Time," a living history of fragrance. Lore Perfumery follows with "Australian Scented Stories," and Dr Caroline McMillan closes the day with "Inhale the Future: science, space and the senses," in hybrid format. Saturday morning also brings "A First Sniff," a panel with industry experts. On Sunday, Lee Couch leads a hands-on workshop, "Connecting to Country through scent."
The weekend also includes a scratch-and-sniff screening of Polyester (1981), an art exhibition, and a scent trail through Geelong's city centre.
