The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of Vietnam’s most cherished cultural celebrations—a time for families to gather, children to enjoy colourful lanterns, and communities to share music, stories and festive traditions. VPG’s celebration brings this spirit to Geelong, creating an opportunity for Vietnamese families to reconnect with their heritage while inviting the wider community to experience and enjoy Vietnamese culture.

Whether you are Vietnamese, introducing your children to their cultural heritage, an international student looking for connection, or simply interested in experiencing Vietnamese traditions, everyone is welcome.

This event is proudly organised by Vietnamese People of Geelong, a volunteer-led, not-for-profit community group dedicated to preserving Vietnamese culture, strengthening intergenerational connections and bringing people together across Greater Geelong.
