Learn sewing basics on a sewing machine and get an introduction to overlocking.

In this session, you will learn how to use the library’s sewing machines and be guided through simple, creative sewing projects.

After completing the session, you will be inducted to use the sewing machines.

This means you will be able to borrow them for use within the library outside of program times within library hours (min 18 years or older).

You will also be introduced to the overlocker. This experience is required before you can book into an Overlocker induction session. It does not include overlocker induction or borrowing.

This event is accessible. The sewing machines self-thread and the power pedal can be operated using your foot or hand.
