The Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) is coming to Geelong on Saturday 17 October 2026, commencing at 9:30am in the Steampacket Gardens.   

Special Olympic athletes will run alongside local Victoria Police officers, with the 'Flame of Hope' in hand. Concluding at The Pavillion, the Special Olympics cauldron will be lit celebrating the success of local Special Olympic athletes participating in this year's games.  Since its formation in 2008, The Victoria LETR programs have raised more $830,000 for Special Olympics, Victoria, to transform the lives of people with an intellectual disability and champion acceptance and inclusion.
