Spring School Holiday Special Service

Looking for an affordable family outing these Spring school holidays? Climb aboard the Portarlington Bayside Miniature Railway and enjoy a relaxing train ride through the beautiful surrounds of the Portarlington Bayside Family Park.

In addition to our regular operating schedule, we'll be running special school holiday services on:

• Wednesday, 23 September 2026 – 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Wednesday, 30 September 2026 – 11:00 am to 3:00 pm

Train rides depart regularly throughout the day and cost just $4.00 per ride. Each journey lasts approximately 10 minutes, with children under two years of age travelling free. Family passes and multi-ride tickets are also available, making it an affordable day out for everyone.

Located just 30 minutes from Geelong, the park's picturesque bayside setting provides the perfect destination for a family day out or picnic. Visitors can also enjoy ample parking, playgrounds, walking trails, free electric BBQ facilities, and the station kiosk, all within easy walking distance of the railway.
