Melbourne musician Tilly Vickers Willis and her band pull you into the darkroom to experience her beautiful and haunting debut record, Silver Halide Film. Guided by the conventions of photographic processes through sound and analog projection, the performance explores each song as a newly developed photograph, each with its own distinct, mysterious world, inky and wet to the touch.
Joining her is Australian singer-songwriter Sascha Muller pairs honest and thoughtful lyrics with soulful guitar. Experimental chords mark her boundless curiosity and evoke a sense of warm, wintery blues. Happy and sad, dark and hopeful.
