Celebrate Eric Thake's connection to Geelong in this watercolour workshop, led by Torquay-based artist Lucy Hardie. Inspired by works in Eric Thake—Do You See What I See?, you'll explore how artists capture the character, atmosphere and stories of a place through careful observation and creative interpretation.

Using photographs, sketches and guided exercises, you'll experiment with composition, unusual viewpoints and simplified forms before creating a finished watercolour artwork that reflects your own perspective on Geelong. Enjoy a relaxed and supportive learning environment while developing your skills and discovering fresh ways of seeing the everyday. For participants with some previous painting experience.
