This national celebration highlights the talents, skills, and achievements of young people, while promoting their right to be seen and heard.

Our Children’s Week grants support this by funding activities that connect children aged zero to 12 and their families through opportunities to celebrate, play and learn together.

Funding is available for not-for-profit organisations to deliver a wide range of events, including yoga, cooking classes, parenting sessions, dance, road safety, and nature-based activities.

To be eligible for funding, proposed activities must be held during Children’s Week, on or between Saturday 24 October and Sunday 1 November 2026.

Applications are now open and will close at 5pm on Monday 22 June 2026.

A total grant pool of $20,000 is available, with applicants able to apply for up to $1,000 of funding.

Successful applicants will be notified on Monday 10 August 2026.

An information session covering eligibility, activities and expenses, and how to apply will be held online on Tuesday 19 May 2026 from 6.00pm to 7.00pm.
