Available to private property and business owners, the kits are designed to help remove graffiti from fences, walls and shopfronts visible to the public.

Each kit contains cleaning liquid, safety glasses and gloves, a scrubbing brush, a cleaning cloth and instructions for use. 

The products have been tested on a range of surfaces and are formulated to remove spray paint, texta and felt pen markings.

Residents can collect a kit from the City's Customer Service Centres at Wurriki Nyal, Corio Village Shopping Centre and Drysdale. Proof of identity and address is required, and a waiver must be signed upon collection.

The reintroduction of the kits expands the support available to property owners and forms part of the City's ongoing commitment to maintaining clean, safe and welcoming public spaces.

This commitment is reflected in the City’s strong performance in graffiti management, with 96.6 per cent of graffiti requests on council-managed assets responded to within the target timeframes.

The kits complement the City’s existing paint voucher program, which provides residents with a four-litre tin of colour-matched paint, a roller brush, a tray, and a drop sheet to assist owners with graffiti on painted external surfaces.
